2024 Annual General Meeting

We’re excited to announce that our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is just around the corner!
As a vital part of our community, the Warragul Farmers Market has always been more than just a place to buy fresh produce direct from the source. It’s a hub of local culture, sustainability and connection.
This AGM is an opportunity for everyone involved - vendors, customers and community members - to come together and discuss the Warragul Farmers’ Market future.

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday 7th August 2024

Time: 5:30PM

This is an opportunity for us to look back at the successes and challenges that we’ve faced over the past year. There’s a lot to reflect on and this review will assist us to understand what’s working well and where we can improve.

Financial Overview:

We will be providing a comprehensive financial overview detailing the market’s revenue and expenses. This is a great opportunity for members to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of our financial health.

Election of New Committee Members:

This is also the time when we will elect new committee members. These individuals play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our market. If you’re passionate about local food, sustainability, or community engagement, consider volunteering as a committee members. It’s a very rewarding way to give back and make a real impact.

Future Plans and Initiatives:

Looking ahead, we have exciting plans in the works! There are exciting events and markets planned for later in 2024 and we will be discussing these plans and seeking input from members. Your ideas and feedback are invaluable as we strive to make the market better for everyone.

The AGM is your chance to voice your opinions and suggestions. Whether you have ideas for new events, feedback on current operations or thoughts on how we can better serve our community, we want to hear from you.
