WFM Family Fun Fair
On Saturday 16th November 2024, Warragul Farmers Market turned 11 and to celebrate a Family Fun Fair was held in the grounds of Civic Park. With sunny skies, cheerful laughter and an incredible turnout, this day brought our community together for a day full of fun, connection and celebration.
The day was marked by a Vanilla Slice Competition, with bakers from far and wide competing for the title of ‘Best Vanilla Slice’. Our judges took their role seriously crowning Tracy Horne of Drouin in First Place, followed by Kirsten Lewis of Drouin and Isaac Lynn bringing in Third Place.
Children beamed as they were transformed into butterflies, dragons and superheroes while getting their faces painted. Jane from Fiddlesticks entertained young and old alike with music, dancing and bubbles. There were free pony rides for big and small from the wonderful Little Ryders Ponies and children and parents were wowed and educated with animals shows from Animals of Oz.
Thank you to Baw Baw Shire Council, who sponsered the Warragul Farmers Market to hold this wonderful day.
